Train in a safer environment during COVID-19

Kohler Fitness is open for business!

Since there has been a gradual lifting of restrictions, I wanted to share what working out with me in my home studio is like during COVID-19.
I continue to train clients remotely and in my backyard, but some clients have requested to workout in my studio.
With the pandemic, there is always going to be some risk in coming to a shared space, but I’ve made some changes to try to minimize the risks to both you and me. 

What I will be doing to reduce the risks of COVID19 for you:

  • I will be monitoring my temperature and screening myself for symptoms.
  •  After each time the workout room is used, I will be wiping down and disinfecting all surfaces that may have been touched: all workout equipment, chairs, the bin for personal belongings, etc.. The entire room will be disinfected with an UV light before and after each use. 
  • I will open and close the gate and the work room door for you so you won’t have to touch the surfaces and door knobs.
  •  Clients are being scheduled in a staggered fashion to avoid crossing paths and enable me the time to clean surfaces and run the UV light.
What I ask of you:

  • Please arrive right at the appointed time. 
  • Please wear a mask, and I ask that you keep it on as long as it’s reasonable during your workout. I will be wearing a mask your entire session and we will both do our best to maintain social distancing at all times.
  • I ask that you take your temperature on a regular basis and that you answer some basic screening questions. 
  • When you arrive, please sanitize your hands with the sanitizer by the door.
  • There is a bin into which you may put any belongings you may have with you. That said, I encourage you to limit bringing extraneous stuff when you come for your workout. Any clothing that is removed can be put in the bin. 
  • After your session, if you should become symptomatic for COVID19 within 72 hours, please call and let me know.
There is also the unspoken assumption that when we go through our daily routines that we all: Wear a mask in public, maintain social distancing and wash our hands frequently.

I take every precaution to ensure a safe environment for everyone.
